熊果苷(arbutin)属氢醌苷化合物,化学名为4-羟基苯基-D-吡喃葡萄糖苷(4-Hydroquinone-alpha-D-glucopyranoside),存在于熊果、越橘等植物中,是一种新兴的无刺激、无过敏、配伍性强的天然美白活性物质。熊果苷的分子结构中具有两种结构性、功能性官能团:一是,葡萄糖残基;二是,酚羟基。α-熊果苷物理状态呈现白色至浅灰色粉末状,较易溶于水和乙醇中。
